Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic drainage massage is a technique that is designed to help remove lymphatic fluid through the body, should it accumulate in the lymphatic system. It involves gentle massage techniques that stimulate the lymph nodes (which filter harmful substance from the lymphatic fluid) with a series of long gliding strokes and so direct the toxins to the tissues that are responsible for their elimination. This type of therapy involves a series of stretching, cupping and gliding motions designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and increase the flow tissues and lymph nodes. Its is a very gentle rhythmic type of massage.
